After long research, I finally found the best cookie recipe. I will be sharing my secrets and techniques step by step through this article. This cookie is only three ingredients. However, the ingredients have to be high quality and organic to get the perfect bite. This cookie melts in the mouth like cotton candy and tastes heavenly. Here are the required ingredients, flour, powder sugar, and organic vegetable shortening. For a better outcome, the shortening has to be organic.

The Ingredients

Flour1 cup
Powder Sugar1/2 cup
Vegetable Shortening 1 cup

Here are the instructions for making this cookie:

The first step is the most important one. First, start by mixing the vegetable shortening with the powder sugar with a hand mixer for 4 minutes till it becomes fluffy and creamy looking.

Secondly, add the flour gradually to the creamy mixture using a spatula to combine the mixture. The method is to fold the flour gently into the creamy mixture, as shown in the pictures. After combing, the mixture will form into a cookie dough. Side note: if the dough starts to crumble and fall apart add more shortening by eyeballing it.

In the third step, add the cookie dough to the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes; it will make it easier to work with and shape it to the desired shape. After refrigerating the dough for 10 minutes, now it’s ready to work with it. As shown in the picture, cut the dough into four pieces and shape it into a circle. Shape the circle dough like a sneak and cut it approximately to 2-inch squares.

Then shape the square piece like a sneak and merge the two ends to get this unique cookie shape. Finally, garnish the cookies with pistachio.

In the fourth step, bake these cookies for 10-15 minutes under 300 F temperature. Side note: make sure to turn up the oven before working with the cookie dough.
When the cookies finish baking, set the cookies aside to cool off and then start storing them to stay fresh.

For storage, use the baking cup for each cookie and put them into the cookie box. To secure the cookies for shipping or just storing them at home, make sure to fill the box with no gap between each cookie as shown in the images.
